Editing linear overview preferences

Edit preferences for Linear Overview.

To edit the preferences:

  1. Select Equipment > Assets.
    Select Equipment > Positions.

    Select Equipment > Systems.

  2. Select the equipment for which to change the preferences for the linear overview, and then click the Linear Overview tab.
  3. Select Preferences to specify the display options.
  4. Specify these options for the Show Features:
    • Click the Linear References to view the linear references in the linear overview display.
    • Click the Points of Interest to view the points of interest in the linear overview display.
    • Click the Related Equipment to view the related equipment in the linear overview display.
    • Click the Related Parts to view the related parts in the linear overview display.
    • Optionally, specify the Default Color display for the records if no specific color is specified.
  5. Specify these options for the Filters:
    • Select the Default Filter for the linear overview display.
    • Click the Include Related Equipment in Applied Filter to include any related equipment in the filtered display.
  6. Click Submit.
